- "Jaxx Sessions Song Facts": "This song started off as a catchy guitar riff in 2013. For the longest time I was having a writers block trying to figure out what direction the song was going in terms of the lyrical content. There was a few rough cut demos of the song including the funny intro on this track with my daughter. At the time of writing my lyrics, in my mind I pretended that my lady had left me with a note on the table with the ring sitting on it. The note question my faithfulness to her, but me knowing it wasn't true, I headed out on the open road with just my guitar to go and find her."
- "Jaxx Sessions Song Facts": "In the intro of the single version of this recording, you can hear me brainstorming lyrical ideas. I love to write my music when my kids are around because they inspire me so much. During this demo recording, my daughter was present with me. She was listening to me play and was whining. As I stopped playing, you hear me ask "Do you like that song?" my 2 year old daughter replied "No .... No! ... " It was so funny, I had to include it on the track.
